1. Explain the feeling that you get when you listen to these songs? I feel like these songs sound so happy, but there's a long depressing history behind them.

2. What kind of information about slavery did you learn from these songs? That to be able to work well during the tell and to make the day go faster is to sing.

3. What can you relate to in any of these songs? That when you listen to music or sing it makes the day go faster, that's why I listen to music at school.

4. What do you think the slaves are talking about in these songs? How horrible their life is, they are singing about trying to stay happy. They are reflecting on how they are mistreated.

Then the Africans were shipped to Americans to the Caribbean then to America. Once in America they would be treated horribly and forced to pick cotton and tobacco then all the goods are shipped to Europe. What is the First Passage? This was the ship to Africa, which held cargo such as guns and weapons. What is the Middle Passage? Where the Africans were shipped to the Caribbean to be sold for a ship load of tobacco and cotton. What is the Third Passage?  All the tobacco and cotton picked in America from the slaves was then shipped to Europe.

This is a poster about Neolithic Stone Age times. Neo - New    Lith - Stone      Neolithic means the new stone age. Neolithic times were 10000 B.C.E to 2000 B.C.E. People in the Neolithic times were much more evolved than people in the Paleolithic times. People in the Neolithic Stone Age used much better weapons than the people in Paleolithic times, they were also farmers. Neolithic people could store much more food than the people in Paleolithic times because they had bigger homes and stronger homes.
